Many ways to help support PIGS

Many ways to help support PIGS

5/10/2006

There are many ways to plan for the future...

PIGS Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that since its inception in 1992 has relied upon private donations, legacies and bequests to provide quality lifetime care to over four hundred animals who have lost their rightful place in our world, including: domestic pigs, potbelly pigs, goats, horses, turkeys, dogs and cats.Gifts to PIGS, not only save lives, but they help insure that PIGS will be here in perpetuity to care for the animals.

·          Major and Planned Gifts
These gifts are a great way to make a contribution to those lost, abused and abandoned animals at PIGS.  Give a gift that will meet your financial goals and our needs. Save lives of lost, abused and abandoned animals.

·          Legacies and Bequests
These gifts may be a specific cash amount, a percentage of your estate or a residual amount of your estate.  By naming the PIGS Animal Sanctuary in your Will, your gift will help save lives of many animals in the years to come.·          Retirement Plans
IRAs, 401(k) s and other qualified retirement plans are subject to income taxes; those funds may be subject to estate taxes.
When you name PIGS Animal Sanctuary as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, those funds are not taxed as income.

  • Paid-up Life Insurance
Paid-up life insurance that you no longer need can make a wonderful gift to the lost, abused and abandoned animals in our care, while providing you with a significant tax deduction.
  • Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds
Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds that have appreciated in value are one of the most advantageous ways of supporting the homeless animals at PIGS and saving you taxes.

Gifts of Cash
Cash gifts help the animals every day.  Your cash gift is tax deductible.
